Live in the moment and love it!

Hello!!!

So I am out of the city and into the burbs again!! Whoo hoo it's weird, just flash back central of BG2 but you know it's good. It will be good. My companion is sis. Bonvissuto she is Italian!! And very talented at musical things. We do lots of service in this ward, so I have been able to meet a lot of the ward these past couple days which is always nice.

When I first came here we helped serve a part member family from Cambodia. The ward was throwing this birthday party thing, so we invited this family to help make some of there special food for the event to bring, and it was a great tool to help them feel apart of the ward instead of something of project plus it got them to come!!! it was really cool just to see this ward come together and talk to our investigators at the party with out us even telling them to.

We got to meet one of our investigators at the temple with a member of the temple presidency to talk to them about the temple and it was really cool. I haven't been able to do that before, but it was such a great experience and perfect way to teach about them temple.

We did some tracting which was weird... I haven't done it in so long. So the wonderful thing about being a missionary is you meet so many wonderful people haha crazy, fun but wonderful people. So we tracted into this lady who was like telling us how we need to be saved and only to read from the bible, not the Book of Mormon and then gave us some booklets about it and some dates, haha how generous :)
Then we met a nice little lady from Ukraine ( everyone here is from all over the world, I rarely hear an American accent all that) she was so sweet! The moment we said we are sharing a message about Jesus Christ she was so happy almost crying and was kissing us so many times, and just so cute!!
It's pretty great here though, I am still getting used to it compared to downtown, that everyone we talk to is in our area!!!!! Ahh! Usually we get their information and I realize they live somewhere far enough where we can't teach them! But no, not here! Its exciting.

It been raining like CRAZY here! Oh my I have never experienced such fierce rain in my life and I was driving it!
But I am happy to be in a church building again and excited to do new work in a new area. I love this church, I love being about to represent it all day everyday. It's hard work, but I think the best thing I have learned is to live in the moment and love it.

I love you all and hope that you have a really good week :)

Tough week and transfers

We have a baptism this coming Saturday! Which is great. It's Tammy, but we had her meet with Bisho and he said she isn't ready :( that is annoying I think a lot of people when they first meet her think she is slow, but they don't give her a second chance to really prove herself. When we have members come to the lesson they always leave with the impression of how amazing she is and how much she grasps what we teach her. Sis.black will take good care of her.
She is training! I am just move up an area or two.

We had another one of our investigators, Melissa, drop us. That was depressing.
Then Denisa, we helped her pack a lot. She is moving next week back to Romania, but she is excited to get over there. She says she may be able to have more time to herself to read the Book of Mormon and stuff. She was supposed to finally come to church this Sunday! She was ready we had a ride for her and were so excited and then she cancelled because the baby got sick. So sad.

Then our other investigator got called to the hospital, she has PTSD and almost committed suicide, so... We got a call from her (which is a first) and then we made plans to meet with her, she was in one of the closed of thick walled rooms where the doors lock, oh I was having anxiety in there!!! But we eat the Book of Mormon with her and she was a lot more relaxed and laughing then she has been with us before. So that was cool. Sis. Black gave her her book of mormon to read while she will be in the veterans hospital or what ever under close watch. Because shana just reads the BOM off her phone and didn't bring a hard copy. The spirit was strong as we told her that this is a great time to build that relationship with God as she is away from the world. I think she will definitely work on it. Hopefully things turn around for her :)

The air and water show was this week end too. I was thinking f dad the whole time. I was like I bet he'd be freakin out! It was SO loud our walls were shaking and the windows were rattling haha it was like we were in a war zone, then the streets were busting with people including the buses and trains! Sundays show got canceled.too bad.

So yep, I will be leaving the city. I loved it here. But God needs me somewhere else!
I love you and I hope you have great week :) good luck with your students!

Thank you of the pictures and the letter and the package as well. I love hearing from you and the family. It makes things easier.

Mini Mission

Hey Guysss!

This week was a good one. Tammy is still progressing and is down to one cigarette and cup of coffee a day!!!! Whoo hoo. She is excited and looking forward to aug 23 to be baptized. The ward loves her and are trying to really fellowship her which is awesome and a blessing. It's kind of difficult to get them out to our lessons though... Everyone is so busy! Hah
When we went to teach her, we asked so did you read anything you like, and she of course said yes. She opened to a scripture, (she has been studying repentance on her own because she is trying to quit smoking.) and she read alma 26:22! Hahaha sis. Black and I were like... What... Haha. It was just really cool to see that even though we assigned her a chapter to read she still studied on her own! That hardly happens. And when we went to visit her another time we were talking about how hard it is to do new things and how she is in need of strength of The Lord and she brought it up her self that she needs to be better at studying the scriptures! And ever since she has been doing really great.
She is really awesome, it just is a testimony to me to see that the power of the Holy Ghost changes every fiber of someone's being when they allow it to testify to them,

We got to meet with Denisa and read the Book of Mormon with her. She loves it. We are helping her move this week by packing boxes. And something that was pretty cool was when we were there helping move things around and get a crib ready for someone to come pick up, the family buying it sneakily had her come in the other room to give her the money. The lady said "we don't want to pay you I front of the girls", and Denisa said "oh no, I trust these girls more than I trust my family!"
that really touched me. I am so thankful to know her. Working a representative of The Lord is like, the coolest thing! Who else gets to go and talk to so many people randomly and serve the and help them spiritually and everything else. It's cool. It's weird, and it's the best.

We stopped by Melissa and she had a friend over they were talking about the trials in there life, and all this stuff. So we just sat there for a bit and them later I felt impressed to show her a video clip we have downloaded. It's called "courage" She loved it! She was like, "I feel the Holy Ghost up in here!" And then turned to her friend and said, "do you feel this?" Haha it was really good. It  great to see now thing happen at a time that will bring someone clos and closer to follow someone's will.

We had this mini missionary thing the stake did this weekend. Where the laurels and priests got with a companionship and did missionary for three days. It surrrrely was an adventure! Haha it's just cool to see that you were like one of them before you left and then you just change so much as you are out. Missions, their great, there awesome! There hard, but worth it. I have never had the spirit be apart of my life for this long and this constant. It's the best!

Sis. Black and I are loving the area though. I never want to leave, I love these people! Ah!
I love you all, thank you for your support, your encouragement, your prayers. I know that I am out here today because of you and The Lord.
Good luck this week!!

Sincerely, sister. Tincher

So Many Things

Family and friends!

Well, well, well what happened this week.
Tom, firefly, glow bugs, fainting man, Tammy back in date, contacting testifying about the Book of Mormon, sisters conference,

So many cool, weird, powerful and spiritually uplifting things happened haha.
We had another sisters conference! There is nothing more awesome then getting a whole bunch of girls together, have no idea why, but it's so true! The spirit was so strong there! I don't even know how disprove it but it is usually like that with these mission meetings. I love them. Out president is way top notch, so spiritually in tune!

This week we had time to contact, so it was cool to see the amazing people The Lord had us meet. It's interesting that then we first talk to these people they always have these perspective of the church that is fogged over from what it really is. There was this lady that didn't really believe in organized religion because of her past contact with her form religion, so she just believes that every religion is just all ruined and touch by man. But you know what really cool?
The church of Jesus Christ has a living day prophet, and prophets are called of God to relay his message. This is no mans church, nor will it ever be if we have a living day prophet.
After a bit of talking to her we were able to clear the fog and she was interested, genuinely interested in learning more!

The Lord wants us to come unto him. He is there, and he is the way. I know that as we read the Book of Mormon we can truly be lead the righteousness.

Crazyy moments: we stopped by a guy we are trying to teach his friend that was like 92 died out if no where, so he was a little sad... We think he was a little drunk because when he saw us he went in for a hug and kissed us on the head! Ah!!! I was stunned, I didn't know what to do. But we talked to him about helping him paint his shop haha (whoo hoo) but we gave him a plan of salvation pamphlet to read and talked a little bit about Heavenly Fathers plan for us.

Another one, we were heading down on an elevator (it was pretty packed) from a dinner appointment and when the door opens to a floor all of a sudden this guy falls over and hits he floor! Um.... What just happened? That's what I am thinkin!
This guy fainted, that is what happened!
Everyone was just like stunned and standing around. Finally I was like we need to drag him out of the elevator.. (He was sticking half way in, half way out!) he was so white. Then got him all situated and he started doing weird things with his face. We called the peri medics and got him out of there, but snap! A little intense.

Next. T A dragon fly landed on my hand and was hanging out with me for a couple moments! I didn't get a camera out in time, but it was cool.

Okay so this week was a good one, I love my Savior. I am thankful to see how he brings others closer to him through little things. I think this scripture explains is pretty decently.
"by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise."
Alma 37:6

I am not calling myself wise, but I think it's so true. The small things are really the ones that make a difference to use, build the strongest foundation. Brick, by brick.

I love you guys, I hope you have a good week!!
